Let's talk about our rights for a moment. One of the predominant myths
pervading our civic lives these days is the idea that our rights as citizens
are granted to us by the State. This idea is incredibly dangerous as it
directly contradicts what our Consitution says: that our rights are inherent
in us, and inseperable from us (they are "inalienable").
Take a look around. The Bill of Rights is under attack; the right of two
people to love each other is under attack; Roe v. Wade is under attack.
Everywhere, using the idea that the State grants us our rights, the Government
is chipping away at them.
It was not the intention of the framers of our Constitution that the
government should exist to protect our rights, at least not exclusively. This
is an insidious corrolary to the idea of rights granted. Ladies, gentlemen,
hoodlums and fellow anarchists, the so-called Founding Fathers gave us a means
to protect our rights ourselves: the 2nd Ammendment to the Constitution.
Protect your rights, people. If you have a resource you think we should add
here, speak up.
It goes without saying that we do not accept gifts or remuneration at all
for any products or services listed here..

Caswell's Shooting Range and Urban
Firearms Institute. An excellent place to get training. Their prices are
decent and they have Ladies Nights Tuesday and Friday. One of the best
gunsmiths in the area as well.
Note that we do have some
reservations....

If you're looking for a good basic Kydex holster, VioPac can heartily recommend TSC Holsters here in
the East Valley.
For day-to-day wear, if you've a bit more to spend we enthusiastically
reccomend the Minotaur
MTAC. It's comfortable, flexible, and can even withstand swing dancing.

Some good fora that might be of interest to East Valley shooters include ArizonaShooting and AZ Weapon Site; keep in mind that the
latter is very "tacti-cool" and deeply painful on the eyes.
Specific to VioPac interests, AR-15.com and the AK Files provide excellent
resources for owners of these rifles.
Though not a forum, RKBA.org has been an
invaluable resource for many, many years. Check it out.
